I was having a fairly productive crafting day today and I decided to make Blake another hat. I love the way this one looks with her hair. It only took about 10 minutes to make. I still want to make a thicker one but I am liking the Spring look of this one.

Blake's New Hat
My mom got me the really cool knifty knitter sets for Christmas and I have been having a blast with them. I used the small flower one that my sister-in-law got me to make this sweet little hat for Blake. This was my first try so it is quite simple. Next time I think I am going to double up on the yarn to make it a little thicker. I am still quite happy with it though.

Handmade Blythe Pillows
A little treat I made for my Blake. I am going to add these to her growing stack of Christmas pressies. The pink was the second attempt and I love how it turned out. Still not perfect but much better than the first one. I stamped the cupcake image on the white pillow and the flower on the pink pillow is an iron on.
Fun Little Number
I used my sewing machine to try making clothes. I am far from being an expert but every little project I do will make me better and better. I love the way this little dress turned out and the headband is the icing on the cake so to speak.
Blythe Sized Stocking
I wanted to get a small stocking for Blake and looked high and low to find one. Since it seemed my only option would be to search the net and place an order for one I decided to take on the task of using my brand new sewing machine and making my own. This is what I came up with. I am pretty happy with it. The stocking is made out of red felt with a beaded trim edge. The fluffy white at the top is Christmas snow. :)
Meet Blake
This is my new blog all about the things I make for my Blythe doll. I have had her for almost two months now and have been having a blast. It's not bad enough that the dolls themselves cost a bloody fortune but all the clothes and accessories are a pretty penny themselves. Since I can't afford to buy her new things all the time I decided I would have a go at making things for her. I hope you enjoy following along as I post photos of my super cool and sometimes not so great creations for my Blythe.
